Project for Mad Tristan

• Artist's colletion

• Although this work is signed and dated 1945, it actually corresponds to the original one used as a backdrop for the production of Mad Tristan by International Ballet premiered in New York on 15 December 1944. It is for this reason that we have assigned it the earlier date.
