- Between 1969 and 1973 Dalí made three paintings for three different ceilings. The first of these is in the Palacete Albéniz and the second is in the Castle of Púbol (catalogue number P{843}). The third is in the "sala nobile" or rest room of the old municipal theatre, currently the Palace of the Wind hall of the Dalí Theatre-Museum (catalogue number P{859}). The French edition of the book Dali par Dali, published by Draeger in 1970, leads us to believe that Dalí entitled this work L’Heure royale, though it is generally known by reference to its location, in the Palacete Albéniz in Barcelona. An oil on canvas, positioned in the centre of the ceiling, in each of its four corners the artist paid tribute to a famous personage associated with the city of Barcelona: Ramon Llull, Joan Maragall, Miguel de Cervantes and Cristopher Columbus.
