- This painting on cardboard, cut sometime during 1923, was part of a larger work. Dalí uses the reverse side of the cardboard to paint Cubist composition. Cubist portrait of Federico García Lorca, c. 1923 (catalogue number {128}), in which a prolongation of Portrait of a Girl can be seen. (See image number 2).
